TASK #3

Using the document linked below, locate examples of photography composition online.  You must find an example, write the definition, and explain how the composition rule enhances the content of a spread.

Photography Webquest Handout

A photo should...
  • Tell a Story

    • Just by looking at the picture the viewer should be able to see what exactly is happening so the can remember the story that goes with it.
A photo should:
  • Reveal Feelings

    • You should always be able to see the subjects face. Try to capture the emotion in their face.

In small groups, you will go out and complete a photography scavenger hunt.  Taking photos using the composition rules, you will then come back and download all of your photos.  Then, you will complete an individual presentation with a selection of your best photos.
